About the event
Introducing the Hoya Basics Workshop, brought to you by Taproot Nurseries and Mats by Cat. Whether you're a seasoned Hoya enthusiast or a newcomer to the genus, you're sure to learn something interesting!
During the workshop, you'll repot a small, beginner-friendly Hoya into a cute 3-4" pot using Taproot Nurseries' premium soil mix. You'll be working on a mini mat by Mats by Cat, which will go home with you, as will your newly-potted Hoya! While we repot, we'll go over the fundamentals of Hoya care, discuss terminology and taxonomy, and marvel at the intricacies of the genus. You can also use this as an opportunity to ask all your burning Hoya questions! If we don't know the answer, we'll find it for you.
